FIFO Counselling in Perth & Online
You can be used to the roster and still find it hard. Long swings, time away and the shift back into home life can leave you feeling disconnected, under pressure or unsure where you fit.
Counselling offers space to talk about what the job asks of you and what you need outside it. Meet in West Perth on your break, or explore online sessions around your roster.
When site life follows you home
Maybe you spend your swing counting down the days, then feel unsettled when you get home. You may be missing important moments, arguing over small things, or finding that time off disappears before you have had a chance to recover.
You don’t need to prove that FIFO is the whole problem. We can look at work, relationships, identity and the parts of life that have been pushed aside.
What we can work on together
Finding a transition between work mode and home life.
Talking through loneliness, pressure and feeling disconnected from people you care about.
Exploring boundaries, expectations and communication in your relationships.
Making room for rest, connection and routines that are realistic around your swing.
The focus is on your experience and choices. You won’t be expected to follow a routine that doesn’t fit your roster or circumstances.
Practical support around your roster
Online sessions can offer continuity when you are away, where a private space and reliable connection are available. Appointment times depend on availability. Include your roster and time zone when you enquire so we can discuss what is workable.

I offer a neuroaffirming approach. If you have ADHD or autism, or need a different pace, we can adapt how we communicate and work together. You can ask for clearer structure, time to think or clarification. Counselling here does not provide a diagnostic assessment.
