I help both men and women navigate stress, change, work and relationships.
Individual counselling in West Perth and online. We can explore what feels difficult and work towards changes that fit your life.
Explore a topic below, or simply start with what’s on your mind. You don’t need to fit into a category to reach out.
-
You might be getting through the day while feeling tense, stretched thin or unable to switch off. You don’t need to wait until things reach a breaking point to talk.
Making sense of what is taking the most out of you
Exploring expectations, boundaries and patterns of overdoing it
Considering manageable changes that leave room to recover
Counselling can make space to understand your experience. If symptoms need medical assessment or another kind of support, we can discuss an appropriate next step.
-
Long swings, changing routines and time away from the people you care about can be hard to carry. Coming home can bring a different set of pressures. My background in FIFO health and wellbeing gives me context for those conversations.
Adjusting between site life and home life
Talking through isolation, relationship strain or work pressure
Finding routines and boundaries that work around your roster
You can enquire about online or in-person sessions and discuss what is practical around your roster.
-
Sometimes a change you chose feels harder than expected. Sometimes the choice was never yours. Counselling offers room to work out what this change means for you, without having to have an answer straight away.
Making sense of loss, uncertainty or a shift in identity
Exploring what matters to you now
Thinking through decisions and rebuilding connection
You don’t need a major life event to start. Feeling unsettled or unsure is enough reason to have a conversation.
-
You might feel disconnected, find yourself putting everyone else first, or feel unsure how to say what you need. These conversations are about your experience of relationships and the patterns you want to understand.
Exploring boundaries and how you communicate your needs
Making sense of relationship changes or separation
Finding a more comfortable way to connect with others
This is individual counselling. If you are looking for couples counselling, please ask about an appropriate referral.
Space to work at your pace.
I offer a neuroaffirming approach. If you have ADHD or autism, or need a different pace, we can adapt how we communicate and work together. You can ask for clearer structure, time to think or clarification. Counselling here does not provide a diagnostic assessment.
